"LOVE LOVE REMOTE CONTROL" / 2013
Love love remote control is a piece regarding the culinary chaos that comprises hunger, taste, growth, polemics and a total food apocalypse. The piece is a tranquil indie poem in word and movement, contemplating the final slice of bread.
“Love Love…” was started in 2011, in collaboration with technical designer Any Lim based in Singapore. The project was supported by the Norwegian Arts Council with a pre-project. The Arts Council again funded the complete project in 2012-13. Resedencies are currently supported by Subtopia, Fredrikstad County and Xanti.

He works extensively in and outside of Singapore, with numerous experiences touring productions in festivals/venues around Asia, Europe and North America. Andy has designed and technical managed for various professional theatre and dance companies, as well as college productions. With TehatreWorks, he has been part of 120 (2007), Vivien and Her Shadows (2008), RPM (2009), Diaspora (2009) and Friends’ Season (2010). His other theatre credits include Macbeth (2011), The Magnanimous Cuckold (2010), Pinocchio – The Musical (2010) and It appears that… (2010). Andy works in film too, notably with Singapore artist Ho Tzu Nyen in The Cloud of Unknowing (2011), Endless Day (2011), Zarathusra: A Film For Everyone And No-One (2009/2010) and Earth (2009). |
